Fort Worth, Texas sits an ideal location, by the West Fork and Clear Fork Trinity River. It’s a location that has fostered many Fort Worth riverfront neighborhoods and homes. It has fostered focus on a Trinity River lifestyle. There are plenty of niches that edge the water and give residents lovely river views. Many of these niches are in west and southwest Fort Worth. They include Crestwood. Crestwood real estate is neatly laid out against a deep bend in the West Fork Trinity. The Crestline area, where River Crest real estate and River Crest Country Club combine, includes many upscale homes with great views of the West Fork Trinity. Further east, Trinity Park and Fort Worth Botanic Gardens edge the Clear Fork Trinity. As it heads southwest, more riverfront neighborhoods and homes line up.
A section of Mistletoe Heights real estate snuggles up to the Clear Fork Trinity. This is the enclave of upscale homes on Mistletoe Dr. The Fort Worth Zoo and Colonial Country Club follow, as the river moves southwest. The lush, wooded area of Overton Woods edges the river before it flows through the neighborhoods of Ridglea, Meadows West and Mira Vista. You see some real exceptional homes in these areas. Needless to say, houses for sale in Fort Worth TX, where neighborhoods and homes meet the river are quite popular. They not only have highly prized locations but many luxury features.
Fort Worth Riverfront Neighborhoods and Homes – Trinity River Lifestyle
Besides Fort Worth riverfront neighborhoods and homes, many attractions focus on the Trinity River. Part of the river flows within close range of downtown. A lot of life is centered in that area. Where the two forks of the Trinity are connected, a place called Panther Island Pavilion draws large crowds during the summer. It’s where you’ll find live outdoor concerts, a beach, grass, shade trees and something else. The Fort Worth Trinity River lifestyle wouldn’t be complete without tubing. In fact, anything else that allows you to float like kayaking and rafting (without a motor) is acceptable. At the pavilion, you’ll see lots of people floating and drinking their refreshments, or just relaxing on the beach and grass. People get a chance to do this during the Rockin the River summer event. It starts June 16th and takes place through mid-August. You can listen to live music, eat great food and drink cold beer. You can float and cool off in the water to your heart’s desire. Stick around at night. You’ll enjoy a great fire works show and view of city lights.
